Research Associate (Part Time)

The IT Professionals for the People (IT4P) is a non-profit organisation of IT professionals working toward improving social, economic and political literacy in Sri Lanka. We are in need of a part time research associate / communications officer who can:

• Conduct research to support ongoing projects

• Compile and analyse data

• Draft reports, summaries, and other documentation

• Collaborate with members, experts, specialists (e.g. designers, developers, data analysts, translators) to produce publish-quality reports, documents and infographics

• Outreach to members and affiliates for distribution

With the following qualifications:

• University undergraduate or recent graduate

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Research experience is a plus, but not mandatory

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A passion for social impact

Hours: Approximately 8-10 hours per week
